Maryanne Butler is a Creative Director at Framestore NY. Her career began at Australian visual effects house Animal Logic in 1994, before joining Framestore London in 2002 as a senior VFX compositor. After earning two VES nominations for the craft, Maryanne refocused her direction on design-led projects, eventually launching the Design Studio at Framestore NY.

Maryanne was Creative Director for the VR film, The Nature of Industry, part of the #nytvr campaign, which won the Grand Prix in Mobile at 2016’s Cannes International Festival of Creativity. Maryanne has been named as one of Adweek’s “Creative 100” as a Top 20 Content Creator, and was featured in Business Insider’s list of “The 30 Most Creative Women In Advertising”.  Maryanne also served on the 2017 Andy Awards jury in Bangkok.
