Alan first joined Duffy in 1993 and worked in both the Minneapolis and New York offices. His award-winning design work has spanned the creation of new brands, brand identity, corporate identity and package design. He has worked with many clients, including Coca-Cola, Hart Ski, Jim Beam Brands, Yakima, Stroh Brewing, Time Inc., Molson, Thymes, Mona Lisa Luxury Condominium Hotels, Shock Doctor, Brewery Ommegang and Qatar Foundation.

Alan’s work has been recognized for design excellence by the American Institute of Graphic Arts, Art Directors Club, and Type Directors Club and has appeared in publications such as Graphis, ID, Communication Arts, HOW, and Print, just to name a few.

Alan graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in graphic design, has instructed classes at the School of Visual Arts in New York, and is currently enrolled at the MacPhail Center for Music.
