Court Crandall

Partner and Executive Creative Director

WDCW

Los Angeles, CA

A partner and Executive Creative Director at WDCW, Court has both created and shepherded award-winning advertising for a variety of clients including ESPN, Beck’s, Virgin, 2K and the anti-smoking effort for California. He has produced a children’s book called Hugville released by Random House, two actual children (Chase 17 & Zane 14), the Dreamworks movie, Old School, and the independent film, A Lobster Tale. And most recently, through WDCW, he created and directed an independent film called Free Throw that has attracted international PR over the last few months and was recently featured in Bing's "Decisions That Shaped 2011." Court has also been asked to deliver a Tedx talk on the film, which will be distributed by Gravitas Ventures starting on November 1st.

Amongst his accolades, Court has been named Creative All Star and Creative Director of the Year by Adweek Magazine and Creative Leader of the Year by the WSAAA. He’s won all the major industry awards from One Show Pencils to gold Cannes Lions. Not to mention some film awards including “Best Screenplay” at the Phoenix Film Festival and “Best Feature Film” at the Omaha Film Festival.

While Court is proud of his individual accomplishments, he’s more interested in the friendships he’s developed with clients and co-workers along the way than the statues and plaques he’s added to his shelf. And he's way more interested in what's waiting around the corner than what's in the rearview mirror.
