Scott Bright is Co-Founder (2002) and former CEO (2009-2012) of Synapse Product Development. Having overseen the company’s growth from garage-startup to $60M, he currently serves as Co-Chair of Synapse’s Board of Directors, where he is responsible for providing strategic vision, leadership, and technology innovation insight.

In the decade prior to starting Synapse, Mr. Bright’s career spanned a variety of technical innovation roles, tackling challenging product development initiatives in sectors ranging from consumer electronics to renewable energy and medical devices.

Mr. Bright continues to advise and mentor students and new entrepreneurs whenever possible, leveraging his experience as a member of the Advisory Board to the University of Washington (Bothell) School of Business (uwb.edu/business) and the Advisory Board for Washington First Robotics (firstwa.org)

Mr. Bright holds multiple technology patents and received his B.S. in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Ohio University cum laude in 1990 and MBA from the University of Washington, Bothell in 2001.
