Since joining Leo Burnett in 2007 Jon has created work for clients such as Coca-Cola, McDonalds, General Motors, Secret Deodorant, Tampax, Hallmark, Nintendo, Eggos, Norton Internet Security, Fifth Third Bank, and Girl Scouts of America.

For Tampax he helped create the "Zack Johnson" integrated campaign, voted a One Show Best of the Digital Decade. For Coca-Cola he was creative director on the Arctic Home Integrated campaign (The controversial white can), And Small World Machines, vending machines that connected the people of India and Pakistan. Small World Machines won 8 Lions at the 2014 Cannes Festival.

Prior to Leo Burnett Jon served as Creative Director at Y&R on accounts such as Brewing Company, NASCAR, Craftsman Tools, and Live Earth, Miller. Working for Al Gore on the Live Earth global concerts in 2007 he reunited the fictitious rock band Spinal Tap for a short film, concert appearance and the global warming themed single "Warmer than Hell". The concerts set an on-line entertainment record with over 15 million video streams during the live concert alone.

The NASCAR "How bad have you got it?" campaign was voted "Best of the Year" by both Adweek and Ad Age magazines and won a Gold Effie. And his Miller Lite "Dominoes" commercial, which was honored with a Emmy nomination, was named "Best Beer Ad of the Year" by Adweek.

Prior to Y&R Jon was Creative Director on BMW and Archipelago at Fallon. And before that he worked strictly for multi-named boutiques; McConnaugy Stein Schmid Brown, Pagano Schenk and Kay, and Arian Lowe and Travis. Had the three firms merged the new agency would have been called as MSSBPSKALT.

Jon began his career as a Television Producer at Chiat/Day.

His work has garnered hundreds of awards from shows like: Cannes (22 Lions), One Show, D&AD, Art Directors Club, Andy Awards, Emmy Awards, Clio Awards, and is in the permanent collection of the New York Museum of Modern Art… and TBS "World's Funniest Commercials."

Jon earned a Masters Degree in Cinema/TV from the University of Southern California and a BFA in Filmmaking from Kent State University in Ohio.

And better than any of that stuff he once was in a punk band that opened for the Ramones.
