In 2008, Zak took one of the biggest leaps of his career and launched his own agency. Seven years later, Zulu Alpha Kilo (a.k.a. ZAK) is a thriving 75-person shop. A copywriter by trade, Zak spent the early part of his career at Chiat/Day and BBDO.
Prior to Zulu, he was a partner and Chief Creative Officer at Taxi. Under Zak’s watch, the shop was listed on the Gunn Report and several of his campaigns made the top five list globally. Creativity Magazine in the U.S. also ranked Zak among the top Ten Creative Directors worldwide.
As a writer and CD, his work has been awarded medals at all of the world’s major shows. He has judged Cannes, D&AD, Clios and this is his third time judging the One Show.
