Maritza Lerman Yoes is a creative social strategist specializing in art and technology. She is currently the first social strategist for TBWA\Media Arts Lab, where she is responsible for on-going strategy and development as well as analysis of social media initiatives. Maritza is challenged daily to discover new ways to generate engagement and brainstorm innovative content creation. Prior to Media Arts Lab she revolutionized social media for museums as the first Social Media Manager at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA). Her work for the museum included the creation of branded social media content across all channels and a Snapchat campaign that made LACMA the first museum internationally to engage museum-goers on the platform. Her unique approach to social media has increased user accessibility in the museum/arts industry. She has also managed social media accounts for brands and arts organizations such as Microsoft and ForYourArt. Maritza enjoys sharing her experience with social strategy and has spoken at numerous conferences including SXSW, Social Media Day for the Association of National Advertisers, Techweek Los Angeles, and Contagious Now / Next / Why.
