Brad Weston

As President of Production, Paramount Films, Brad Weston is responsible for the day-to-day development and production of the film slate and literary acquisitions for Paramount Pictures, MTV Films and Nickelodeon Movies. He is currently spearheading production on "STAR TREK," "G.I. JOE," "SHUTTER ISLAND," "DANCE FLICK," and "FRIDAY the 13th." Prior to his role as President, Production, Weston was Co-President of Production. He joined the studio in April 2005. Before joining Paramount, Weston was Co-President Dimension Films from 2000 to 2005. While there, he successfully released Robert Rodriguez's "SIN CITY" and "ONCE UPON A TIME IN MEXICO," as well as "BAD SANTA," "SPY KIDS" trilogy, "SCARY MOVIE 2 & 3," "JAY & SILENT BOB STRIKE BACK," Alejandro Amenabar's "THE OTHERS," and Todd Phillips' "STARSKY & HUTCH." From 1997 to 2000, Weston was President of Millennium Films, an independently financed production company that has a multi-picture, co-financing, co-distribution deal with Miramax Films.

For Millennium, he produced "PROZAC NATION," "THE GREY ZONE," "HOW TO KILL YOUR NEIGHBORS DOG," and "GUINEVERE" (winner of the Waldo Salt Screenwriting Award at the 1999 Sundance Film Festival - released by Miramax later that year).

Prior to his position at Millennium, Weston had a producing deal at Columbia Pictures and produced the Hollywood Pictures feature film "SUPER MARIO BROS."

Weston began his career at Lucasfilm, where he worked on promotional campaigns for feature films such as "WILLOW" and "INDIANA JONES AND THE LAST CRUSADE."
