As vice president, Global Communications at Prudential Financial, Inc., Lauren Day leads an integrated, strategic communications organization supporting the brand and growth objectives of Prudential’s diversified businesses worldwide.

Previously, Day was a managing director and head of corporate communications and corporate reponsibility of the primary U.S. subsidiary of AXA S.A. Day also served as director of strategic communications for American International Group (AIG), where she led communications strategy and execution for the company’s global restructuring program, as well as for its international corporate divisions. Prior to that, she was a senior associate in the capital markets group of AIG Global Real Estate Investment Corp.

Day got her start as a legislative aide, policy advisor and press secretary in the Connecticut State Legislature, and later as a Robert Bosch Foundation Fellow in the financial sector development group of KfW Bankengruppe in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

Day was recently named to PR Week’s “40 under 40.” She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Dartmouth College, where she was named a Presidential Scholar and Dartmouth Graduate Fellow.
