Jo Marie is hiphopping around the communication branché since 2003. You can put her in the box of the creative skyrocket scientists. For adpeople it is very important to win very many creative awards. So she did in the last few years. During the years she developed from a classically educated creative to a hybrid creative thinking the holistic way when it comes to brands.
In these times she invented the job title Hybrid Creative Director which is now adopted by many others in the business.
She is a member of the German Art Director’s Club and was a teacher at Miami Ad School for 5 years. She is now a trusted „Kapitän” and responsible for the Curriculum at Texterschmiede, the most awarded german copywriter’s school.
In September 2015 Jo Marie Farwick founded Überground. An holistic idea collective with a totally new approach in working on eyelevel with clients on high class projects.
Überground debuted the well know international campaign for famous fitness brand Freeletics and won it’s first awards with this. On Christmas 2016 the team rocked the marked with the 1000degree #SANTACLARA Campaign for Europe’s biggest discounter Lidl which replaced Santa Claus, entered all main European charts and was celebrated best and most shared XMAS Viral 2016. On 23rd of February Jo Marie’s foundation Überground was honored with the Dare Greatly Award from Cadillac Europe and the title Rookie Agency of the year 2016. The Team just invented a new worldwide lottery-product called Thankyou Million für Tipp24 and just fnifhed shooting their first automotive campaign for Audi Innovation.
