I am a half Australian, half Japanese designer who grew up in Switzerland.

Currently working at Google Creative Lab in New York (formerly in London), where we design tools, experiences, games, and products that tell stories. I aim always to make work that has purpose – that is as 'useful' as it is fun. Outside of Google, I'm an active mentor (She Says), speaker (D&AD, Glug), judge (FWA, D&AD, Lovies) and a strong advocate for the pursuit of a more open, more inclusive playing field in the creative industries and beyond.

Prior to joining Google, I was a designer at Mother London. My work has been recognized by D&AD, The Dots, IPA, Campaign, Cannes Lions, OneShow, Lovies etc. I hold a BFA in studio art from NYU and an MA in communication design from Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design.
