In a survey by Australia's number one business magazine, BRW, Danny was named Australia's best Creative Director. Marketing Magazine, Campaign Brief named him as "one of the top ten award winners of the last decade". He sits on the board of Clemenger Communications (Australia's largest marketing and communications company) and the BBDO Worldwide Creative Committee. His hobbies are drinking wine, eating food and breathing – in that order.
