PJ Pereira is an internationally recognized Creative Director with 18 years of experience in the interactive industry. In 1996, he joined DM9. He left DM9DDB in 1999 to join a technology company called Midialog and created AgnciaClick, the first internet agency in Brazil that merged powerful creative insights with strong technology capabilities and an established project development methodology. At AgenciaClick, his team has planned and developed almost 300 web projects including e-commerce sites, ISPs, horizontal, vertical and broadband portals, online self-service platforms, corporate sites, and online branding initiatives for clients from many different industries. In 2005 he moved to the US from Brazil to assume the role of Executive Creative Director of AKQA in San Francisco. He has won many international awards during the last seven years, including 14 Cyber Lions in Cannes (one Grand Prix, three Golds, two Silvers and eight Bronzes), eight Pencils in One Show (two Golds, three Silver and three Bronzes) and one Grand Prix and five Golds in the London International Advertising Awards. He was born in Rio de Janeiro in 1973. He is married with two dogs and is also a brand new father this year. PJ speaks Portuguese, English and Spanish.
