A copywriter by trade, Zak spent his early career honing his craft at Chiat/Day and BBDO in Toronto. In 1996, after two years working and traveling in Great Britain, Zak was lured back for a second stint at BBDO. In 1999, he joined TAXI and, under his creative leadership, the agency has been consistently receiving international acclaim ever since. TAXI has been listed on the prestigious Gunn report numerous times during Zak's tenure. Most recently, reaching the 13th spot worldwide. His work as both a writer and Creative Director has been recognized at the One Show, D&AD, CA and Cannes.
