HENRY BRIMMER goes from project to project with curiosity, passion, and the kind of dedication clinically defined as obsessive-compulsive. With this same energy, he tackles problem-solving as a graphic designer, an educator, at times an artist, and an entrepreneur who has failed (miserably) to monetize his endeavors. But he is happy, and ready to take on the next project. Over the years he has enjoyed his Warholian 15 minutes in the spotlight on more than one occasion. He co-founded Photo Metro magazine in San Francisco back in the golden era of the tabloid, his work has been published in Print and Graphis, and he has been among the finalists in ArtPrize three years in a row. Currently he derives great satisfaction vicarously, when one, or three of his students land jobs at agencies like CP+B, BBDO, Droga5, 360i. After years of trying, Brimmer still can’t play the guitar for shit.
