Jo Hodges is the Creative Practice Director for the Communications and Media Programme, School of Media at London College of Communication. This role involves the direction of creative practice for a suite of courses, including BA Advertising, BA Public Relations, BA Media and Communications, BA Media Cultural Studies, MA Advertising, MA Media and Communications and MA Public Relations.

Jo’s industry background is as an award winning art director and as a feature film screenwriter with international production credits at London, Edinburgh, UK, The Hamptons, USA, and Toronto Film Festival, Canada. Jo has also directed for film and has won an award for her documentary short, Gentlemen which she made at the EICTV (Cuba Film School). Gentlemen was accepted at various film festivals across Europe and The US and was winner of Best Documentary Short film at the Columbia Gorge Film festival, Washington USA and Anthem Libertarian Film Festival, Las Vegas, USA. Jo’s short, Jimmy Riddle was a winner at the Sky Movies Max Film Competition, London, UK.
