Brock Davis is an award-winning artist who works in a variety of mediums including photography, sculpture, illustration, graphic design and video. His work is rooted in concepts that focus on the mundane, familiar objects of every day life and suggest a rejuvenated way in which to perceive them. The familiar becomes new, the ordinary, extraordinary. It’s been described by famed street artist, Banksy, as “a freewheeling sideways visual energy that’s impossible not to love.” In addition, Brock has worked in the advertising and design industry for the past 20 years, creating groundbreaking work for a variety of clients including Apple, Target, Jack Links, Subaru, Harley-Davidson, Porsche, and many others. His work has received national and international acclaim, acquiring every notable industry award.

In 2009, he made one piece of art every day for a year in his “Make Something Cool Every Day” project. The internet-wide reaction to this work led to his own line of Brock Davis kid’s tees in Target stores, as well as editorial commissions from publications like the New York Times, Wired, Esquire, Fast Company, The New Republic, and Fortune, among others. He also has a cover for Time magazine under his belt. Each year, his works are viewed and shared millions of times over and he has been written about and featured on NPR, The Huffington Post, USA Today, ABC, Comedy Central, G4, The Independent, LA Weekly, Boing Boing, and Juxtapoz. He was recently named one of Wired Magazine’s 18 influential design leaders working today.

Brock lives in Minneapolis with his wife, Alyn, their two children, Ames and June, and a dog named Zelda.
