Dan Sormani

Dan Sormani is an Executive Producer with over 15 years' experience working in a broad range of media. He's produced national and international commercials, short films and music videos that have collectively garnered more than 100 million views.

Dan joined MPC in 2015 as Executive Producer at MPC Creative, the company's dedi- cated unit for original content and live-action production. There he collaborates with the global MPC Creative team and MPC's extensive community of production, design and visual effects talents. In this role, Dan brings a mix of production company and ad agen- cy experience to MPC Creative. His resume includes stints with Goodby, Silverstein & Partners (where he served as Head of Production at its New York office), as well as with Crispin Porter + Bogusky and Lowe. On the independent production side, he's held sen- ior executive positions at Logan, Brand New School, Stardust and Lifelong Friendship Society.

In his work with agencies, production companies and effects studios, Dan has helped grow some of the most respected creative brands in the industry. As a Partner, EP or both, he's overseen the complete production operation of these companies, including new business development, talent recruitment and human resources, all while building lasting client relationships. He also maintains a constantly evolving skill set as a pro- ducer, including live-action production, animation, VFX, graphic design and experiential.

He's overseen numerous campaigns that have received national and international awards, including Cannes Lions, AICP Show, Clio Awards, Promax/BDA, the One Show and D&AD. He's earned an MTV VMA nomination for Incubus' "Megalomaniac" video, and produced the 2012 Cannes Grand Prix for Good entry for "Help, I Want to Save a Life," via Droga5. Most recently he led the MPC Creative team that produced an engag- ing live action and animation music video for Illumination Entertainment ("Despicable Me," "Minions," "Secret Life of Pets") and their new film "SING!," with Stevie Wonder which featured Ariana Grande performing their hit song, "Faith."
