Lauren Spoto began her branding education in retail, selling all-American pants at the Gap, outdoorsy pants at Eddie Bauer, and spangly pants at Juicy Couture. She went on to manage, train and recruit other pants-sellers.  

In 2009, she left pants behind to begin a copywriting career at DigitasLBi New York, where she created work for American Express and Suntrust Bank. As a Creative Director at Roar and SapientRazorfish she has led work on Chase, J.P Morgan, Google, and Hellmann's. She continues to wear pants recreationally.
