With almost 20 years in the pharmaceutical industry, Mike brings a wide array of experience and poise to any team. Over the last 18 years at FCB, Mike has played many key roles, including managing the San Francisco healthcare office in the late '90s, launching FCB Health's first spin-off, Area 23, in 2007, and now leading the Strategic Planning and Scientific Services discipline across the network. In his current role, Mike has helped cultivate the various strategic disciplines into an integrated, customer-centric model that connects behavior specialists, medical professionals, and multichannel experts. Mike's focus on innovation is clear, and his ability to build high-performance teams has led to breakthrough approaches and products in the healthcare space.
Mike has helped build some of the industry's most successful and recognizable brands – Vasotec, Cialis, Yervoy, Vioxx, Lamictal, and Valtrex, to name a few. In total, Mike has led close to a dozen agency launch teams and has partnered with world-class manufacturers such as Merck, Amgen, Eli Lilly, GlaxoSmithKline, BMS, and Genentech/Roche.
Mike's catlike reflexes to clinical data readouts were honed as a 4-year goalkeeper at alma mater Villanova University, where he studied comprehensive science, chemical engineering, and business management.
