Cheelip is a hybrid creative leader with over 17 years of integrated advertising experience, having successfully helmed creative departments in markets as diverse as Singapore, Vietnam, Tokyo and China. In the course of his career, he has won advertising awards across multiple categories at international, regional and domestic award shows such as: CLIO Awards, Communication Arts, ONE SHOW, ADFEST, SPIKES, BUSAN AD STARS, Global Best Digital Advertising Awards, Creative Circle Awards, China ROI Awards, China Advertising Great Wall Awards,Tiger Roar Awards (China),Red Dot Design Awards, Times Asia-Pacific Awards, China Content Marketing Awards, Effie Greater China Awards, ECI (e-commerce innovation) Awards, IAI International Awards, etc. He also helped break a Guinness World Record for his campaign for Didi App in China.

As the Chief Creative Officer for MullenLowe Group China, Cheelip is responsible for providing creative leadership for Unilever portfolio of brands, Buick, Minute Maid, Clear and Guerlain, giving his clients an unfair share of attention

Other global brands that have been managed by Cheelip included SONY where he was the Asia-Pacific Creative lead, CANON, Abbott, Procter & Gamble, BMW and MacDonald's; as well as the who's who of China's tech industry such as JD.Com, BAIDU, Tencent, Xin.com and DIDI.

Cheelip was also a guest speaker at the 2014 International Advertising Association World Congress and was named by ChinaSmack.com as one of the leading advertising creative in China. He is also a regular jury member at advertising awards shows around the region such as China Content Marketing Awards, ECI Awards, 2016 BUSAN AD STARS; as well as a jury member for The One Club 2017 for The Young Ones Awards.

In his leisure time, Cheelip enjoys unwinding with a glass of aged single malt whisky, with a cigar in hand.
