About the Event

Students: Get Your Portfolio Reviewed By A Pro

The One Club For Creativity Denver and AIGA Colorado have teamed up to help Colorado and surrounding area college art students make it in the professional world by hosting the annual event, The Review, where students get invaluable feedback on their portfolio as it is reviewed by up to five creative professionals and compete for scholarships and prizes.

Students present their work to local agency designers, business owners and artists in one-on-one sessions, similar to an interview. The professionals give feedback on the students work, how they can improve and advice on how to present their work to land their dream job.

Scholarships and prizes are awarded to the best portfolios.

Join us during lunch for a panel discussion with Jonathan Schoenberg, Creative Director and Partner, TDA_Boulder and Mark St. Amant, Creative Director, CP+B. Pizza and beverages from our sponsor, Pizzeria Locale is provided.

Speakers

Jonathan Schoenberg

Executive Creative Director & Partner, TDA_Boulder

Jonathan Schoenberg is 5 feet, 9 inches tall, which is the average height for an American male. Some scientists have asserted that the average height is 5 feet, 10 inches, but he believes it is 5 feet, 9 inches. He is the executive creative director and partner at TDA Boulder. He talks about his kids and dogs a lot. He has only one kidney, but if you meet him, treat him just like normal people who have two kidneys. He writes his own bios but wants you to think someone else is writing them so he seems important. It only makes you understand how profoundly insecure he is, and that no matter how many bloated achievements he includes in a bio, he has profound self-doubt and just wants a hug. He does not want a hug from strangers, but if you know him, please hug him, because even though he has issues with intimacy, he really just wants to be loved.

D'Arcy O'Neill

Creative Director, CP+B

D’Arcy joined CP+B almost three years ago and quickly made an impact leading teams and producing work for Kraft Macaroni and Cheese, Stove Top and Fruit of the Loom. He has touched almost all of the agency’s brands since then and currently works as the creative director on both the Domino’s and Hershey’s accounts. Prior to CP+B, D’Arcy worked at the Martin Agency, Modernista, Euro and Mother in NYC where he created work for brands such as Oreo, Stolichnaya, Cadillac, American Cancer Society, Duvel, Ping, Morgan Stanley, Target and Hummer. He lives in Boulder with his wife and three daughters and can be found on the slopes when not in the office.
