Tom Bolton, a rising star on the comic book typography scene, tapped Cincinnati’s Barefoot Advertising to create a direct mail campaign, targeting industry execs.
Objective
“Tom is all talent, no ego,” says the creative team. “We wanted a campaign that captured that.”
Technical Challenge
Concepts feature Tom himself, interloping on frame within a comic strip, saying and thinking some pretty startling things. The point: So focused is Tom on the art and craft of comic book lettering, he has no time left to focus on anything else (including having an ego).
