Brooklyn’s Creatives Open their Doors to Launch The One Show Day in DUMBO
The One Club, the world’s foremost non-profit organization devoted to elevating the advertising industry will host the first ever One Show Day in Dumbo on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at the historic DUMBO LOFT. The One Show Day in DUMBO, will bring together creatives from some of New York’s foremost and up-and-coming digital and advertising firms, who will, for the first time collectively, open their doors to the international audience of Creative Week New York.
The One Show Day in DUMBO will include a welcome by Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz; guided tours of digital studios and advertising agencies; exhibitions, and much more. The day will be hosted by Carrot Creative, Domani Studios, Hush Studios, Lucky Branded Entertainment, Miami Ad School, Red Antler, space150 and Workshop with support from The One Club and the DUMBO Improvement District.
“It’s a real thrill to be able to give our Creative Week audience a peek into the amazing work that is taking place in this small creative community right under the Brooklyn Bridge,” said Kevin Swanepoel, President The One Club. “The innovation, creativity and unique visions of the companies in DUMBO, truly reflects of today’s digital creative industry.”
The One Show Day in DUMBO is open to the public, and will take place on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at the DUMBO LOFT (155 Water Street).
The One Show Day in DUMBO takes please during The One Show’s Creative Week NYC, an annual celebration of creativity in advertising, design, digital media and all the arts that feed and touch those disciplines. Officially declared by the Honorable Mayor Michael Bloomberg, Creative Week NYC includes the One Show Festival, featuring the unConference, the Master Class series, One Show Design, One Show Interactive and the world renowned One Show.
