2009 One Show Design Jury Selected to Judge Year's Most Innovative Design for Advertising Industry

NEW YORK, March 9, 2009 – 10 of the world\'s top designers have been selected to judge the 2009 One Show Design Awards, the most prestigious international design competition honoring the year’s best in advertising design, environmental design, corporate identity, publication design, and package design.

"One Show Design leads the industry in recognizing innovation in visual solutions to business problems," said Mary Warlick, CEO of The One Club, "Good design is integral to successful advertising."

The jury, which represents some of the world\'s most influential creatives in the world of design, will meet in New York to choose the winners in One Show Design from April 1-3. For the first time ever, judging will take place in Brooklyn at Fast Ashleys Studios. Winners will be announced at the May 4 One Show Design awards ceremony which will be held at the IAC Building in New York.

The 2009 Judges for this year’s One Show Design competition:

  • René Clément – Paprika (Montreal, Canada)
  • Lisa Greenberg – Gee Jeffery & Partners (Toronto, Canada)
  • Tim Guy – Factor Design (San Francisco,USA)
  • Kit Hinrichs – Pentagram (San Francisco, USA)
  • Björn Kusoffsky – Stockholm Design Lab (Stockholm, Sweden)
  • John Norman – Wieden+Kennedy (Portland, USA)
  • Jon Olsen – Sandstrom Partners (Portland, USA)
  • Nathan Reddy – GRID Worldwide (Johannesburg, South Africa)
  • Chuck Tso – BBDO (New York, USA)


Last year, winners included Ogilvy & Mather, Leo Burnett, TBWA Paris and McCann Worldgroup.
