The Hybrid Car & The Next Avenue for Advertising?

New York, NY, December TK, 2005 - For its annual One Show College Competition, the One Club announced it has partnered with the non-profit The Union of Concerned Scientists, a US-based science and police group, and its affiliated online resource, www.hybridcenter.org, to help createive meaningful ad campaigns that promote the correct use of hybrid technology.

To allow the public to learn more about the hybrid vehicle market and to help ensure that hybrid technology is not simply used to make our cars, pickups, minivans and SUVs more powerful, as has been the case with so many other advances in automotive engineering, but to maintain performance while lowering emissions and significantly increasing fuel economy.

The deadline is Monday, March 20th. All judging will be done online. The judges TK. The winners will be announced after the One Show. There are five main categories.

To enter the One Show College Competition, prospective entries are asked to log on to www.enteroneshow.org where an innovative on-line system was exclusively designed to streamline the entry process into five easy-to-follow steps. The user-friendly navigation ands simple log-on will allow all entrants to add or change entries at any time during entry process.
