The One Club Launches Web 2.0 Broadband Website, Featuring a Dynamic Advertising Online Community

Advanced Archival Search Tools, Creative Showcase and International Forum for the Past, Present and Future Advertising Community to Be Unveiled on August 1

NEW YORK (August 1, 2006) — The One Club will launch a brand new website on August 1, 2006, providing new content of over 8,000 ads and featuring an advanced archival search tool, Creative Showcase, online portfolios and an Internet forum for the past, present and future of trends in advertising. The website will underscore the club's dedication to advertising excellence.

www.oneclub.org will sport a new sleek interactive design, a portal landing site, dynamic community area, a blog, pod and videocasts, and an encyclopedic archival search engine that will include the work of who's who in the creative industry. The site was produced by sixmilliondollar.com and The One Club over the past year.

On the new site, a landing page leads into three major, color-coded content sections, each featuring an advance search tool:

The One Club: Users can easily search and access a wealth of One Club and industry news as well as read about key creatives in the advertising industry. Included in this section are in-depth profiles on The One Club Board of Directors and Creative Hall of Fame – the elite players who have shaped creative advertising with their award-winning work and vision.

The One Show: The One Show online archives have over 8,000 ads that users can search. The advanced search feature allows a user to do in-depth research on both the ads and the individuals responsible for the winning work. The current archives boast every winning entry since 2001 and within the next year, which will broaden to include all the winning ads from 1975. This section also includes profiles of the judges for each year.

The One Club Community: This will be the largest section of the new Web site. Designed to be entertaining and freshly-updated, it allows The One Club members to view One Show videocasts, the famed Gold on Gold Lecture series, creative briefs, educational programs, read the new The One Club blog and newsletter, upload their personal advertising portfolios, as well as trade information and interact with fellow members. In addition, anyone who registers on oneclub.org can post work in the "Creative Showcase's Public Choice" section. Other content on the "Creative Showcase" area will highlight compilations of contributing editors, a judges and a members' choice list.

"The wealth of information on the new site is astounding," said Kevin Swanepoel, The One Club Interactive Director. "The community section is incredibly dynamic and allows anyone to interact with a wide range of like-minded creatives from around the world. The scope of the new site has gone from a brochure to an encyclopedia, truly embodying the viral current of the online world. It's an invaluable tool for creatives to display their work, trade information, and use The One Club as a resource."
