ADC Awards

The ADC Annual Awards is the oldest continuously running industry award show in the world. Now in its incredible 102nd year, these awards celebrate the very best in advertising, digital media, graphic and publication design, packaging and product design, motion, experiential and spatial design, photography, illustration and fashion design all with a focus on artistry and craftsmanship.

Since joining Pentagram as a partner in 2006, Luke’s team has designed identities and for Mastercard, The Motley Fool, Colgate University, Moravian University, The Koch Institute at MIT, the World Science Festival, the White House Historical Association, The Center for Architecture (AIA NY), Fortuny, and the Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art and technology companies Cornerstone, Keap, Skiff and The Coterie.

Some additional clients are Apple, Amazon, Conde Nast, Magnum, and many universities including Northwestern, The University of Chicago, Stanford, Columbia, Brown, Princeton, and Wharton. Luke has redesigned publications including TIME, The Atlantic, The Philadelphia Inquirer, Consumer Reports, Stern, Foreign Affairs, Tablet, and Queue Magazine for Netflix.

Luke and his team have won awards from ASME, SPD, AIGA, ADC, The Webbys plus a Grammy nomination.

Luke has served as the vice president of the Society of Publication Designers and in 2011 was elected to the Alliance Graphique Internationale. He has presented at a lot of design conferences in several countries. For a few years he taught at the School of Visual Arts, and has given lectures at New York University and at the journalism course at Columbia University.
