Robert is a world-renowned designer whose dual Canadian/Dutch citizenship informs his expertise in developing global efforts at 72andSunny. Before co-founding 72andSunny, Robert spent 7 years at Holland’s prestigious Studio Dumbar and 10 years at Wieden+Kennedy in Amsterdam where his influence on the visual culture of the agency, and on its Nike work in particular, earned him recognition as part of a small group of designers who have challenged the traditional rift between advertising and design. Always the epicurean, Robert splits his time between homes in Amsterdam and Los Angeles while enjoying good food with his wife Harmine.
