I'm currently trying to figure out what to answer when people ask me what I do, since Graphic Designer now sounds quaint. I've been a professional designer for over 20 years and have helped re-imagine global businesses for Jet Blue, Johnson & Johnson and Infiniti Motors, designed Santeria candles for a Botanica up in the South Bronx, worked with my curatorial and artistic idols at the Museum of Modern Art and PS1, and designed comic books for Marvel. These days I'm building a packaging and brand design group for Comcast, and building a cast silver jewelry line. I have no idea what to call myself these days, so Designer will just have to do.
