KARIN ONSAGER-BIRCH recently returned to California as Chief Creative Officer for FCB West, where she leads creative on Levi's, Ghirardelli, and the office's latest win, the global Clorox account.
Karin grew up at Goodby Silverstein and Partners in San Francisco and was Creative Director for 11 of those years. Her campaigns for Nike, Adobe, Hyundai, Chevrolet, Kayak.com, HaagenDazs and others won her numerous awards, including from Cannes Lions, the One Show, NYADC, Clio’s, Effies and others.
From 2012-2015 she lead the creative on Ford’s 500 million advertising account across Europe for Ogilvy/The Blue Hive. Under her leadership Ford’s market share surpassed that of Toyota and enjoyed a time of tremendous growth and innovation for both her client and the agency, winning awards in mobile innovation and a global Gold Effie for the launch of the Mustang in Europe.
Karin was recently a speaker at California Berkeley Haas School of Business program for Entrepreneurship and Innovation and a jury member both at the Cannes Lions (Promo Category) and the Clio’s (Print and Craft categories) in the summer of 2016.
