Vickie Segar has become a pioneering industry voice and advocate for the influencer community. She was featured in Hulu’s documentary Frye Fraud, where she educated people about the sheer power of social media, as well as the need for appropriate recognition of influencers, and standardization of ethical business practices for all industry stakeholders. Vickie also regularly writes about trends and cultural dynamics within the influencer industry, including how gender roles impact perception of the space, as well as the durability and long-term potential of the industry. 

Vickie's career was born out of Crispin Porter + Bogusky and Wieden + Kennedy before she ran acquisition in-house at Equinox - the beginning of a career that merges performance and brand marketing. Vickie is the current founder of performance-driven, influencer agency, Village Marketing, known for their work mainly on digitally native brands like Amazon, Rent The Runway, Harry's, Boll and Branch, and others like: Biden's campaign for Presidency and Michelle Obama's When We All Vote. Vickie has also created sister brands Village Studio, a production studio for brands and influencers, and Village Made, a startup studio for turning influencer's into founders of their own ecommerce sites.
