Jen Louis Barrett is the Head of Entertainment for Meta, leading creative vision and strategy for film, TV, streaming and sports industries. She is also the founder of Meta's SEEN program (est. 2017) to drive representation in Hollywood (IG @seen). Through SEEN, Jen’s led education, advocacy, & creative support for underrepresented filmmakers around the world at Sundance, SXSW, and the BFI's London Film Fest, and in partnership with The Blackhouse Foundation, The Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media, and Women in Film & Television. She has served on the executive board for the AIGA The Professional Association for Design, the American Advertising Federation, on the advisory board for International Academy of Design & Technology, and as a coach for ADCOLOR’s Futures program. Jen is a requested speaker for Mobile World Congress Women4Tech, PromaxBDA, Variety’s Changemaker Summit, The Blackhouse Foundation at Sundance Film Festival, The Female Quotient, The Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media, AIGA, ADCOLOR, Valleywood, and the OTT TV World Summit. Jen and her work have been featured in Variety, Forbes, The Hollywood Reporter, Campaign, and Deadline. Prior to Meta, Jen held roles as the Global Director of Design for CNN as well as the Global Creative Director for NBC’s The Weather Channel. She is an advocate for representation and inclusive storytelling in Hollywood and beyond.
