Born in Amsterdam’s notorious Red Light District and raised on a steady diet of his writer father’s bebop and free jazz collection, Michiel Marsman is a wildly creative, experienced and multifaceted producer and executive creative director focused on film, television and commercial soundtracks. Originally a conservatory-trained guitarist, Michiel spent years journeying intrepidly through genres – including with his “ultra-loud gabber distortion” group Dr. Mindfuck. Later, he found success composing music for advertising with his company Billinger & Marsman, before eventually in 2009 becoming a partner and creative director at Sizzer. There, he still works only on projects that make him happy, and continues on his quest to make Sizzer the most creative, groundbreaking and most awarded music company in the world.
