While Rachel’s career currently revolves around setting music to image, she dabbled into various musical roles and ambitions in the past. Interested in making her own music and singing from an early age, Rachel was classically trained as a violinist. By the age of 19, she was the lead singer of a commercial project in Spain curated by the ex-management of Jamiroquai. Simultaneously she was developing her own artistic project, making contemporary electronic RnB. Having experienced “the artist side” of the music industry and driven by her lifelong fascination with the power of music in a cinematic context, Rachel then dived into the world of music supervision and joined the Sizzer team. She was responsible for the music behind campaigns for brands such as Karl Lagerfeld, Nike, Adidas, Smart, T-Mobile, Tommy Hilfiger and many more. Last year she received gold at The One Show amongst many other awards for her work as a music supervisor and composer on G-Star RAW- The Rhythm of Denim and several nominations for her work on Schweppes - Let’s Schweppes. Besides working at Sizzer, she composes orchestral pop music inspired by the soundworld of James Bond for her upcoming solo project, and arranges violin for feature films and other artists.
