Russ loves working with ideas that earn attention. During his time as Executive Creative Director, TBWA’s earned creative agency Eleven has been consistently awarded at both local and international award shows, earning over 20 Agency of the Year accolades over a decade. Russ is also passionate about work with social purpose at its core, creatively directing award-winning marriage equality campaigns for Airbnb, Tourism New Zealand and SKYY Vodka. Prior to Eleven, Russ was the creative director of digital agency TEQUILA which was awarded with an International Emmy Award for digital. Russ has been invited to judge at D&AD, Cannes Lions and many other local shows. He regularly mentors the next generation of talent as part of the Sydney AWARD School curriculum. Outside of adland, Russ is a delusional watercolorist and loves to paint everything from pigeons to mini-graffiti on model train sets which he believes is not geeky at all….not at all.
