Kara entered the gaming industry in 2014, but has been an avid gamer as far back as she can remember. She’s always been passionate about art and turned that passion into a career, shipping multiple games along the way. She’s worked on memorable, iconic titles such as Skylanders SuperChargers, Crash Banicoot N. Sane Trilogy, Destiny 2 and Knockout City. She currently works as a Senior UI Artist for NetherRealm Studios in Chicago, IL. Kara discovered her love of User Interface after graduating from the Illustration program at the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC. While Kara's primary goal is to create the visuals for a game's UI, she is equally committed to ensuring a quality user experience is implemented as well. In order to meet these standards, Kara believes that an aesthetically pleasing user interface must be accompanied by UX that is functional and accessible to all players.
